How to download a Twitch clip
Choose a video quality
Paste the link above and select Find clip. Choose from the MP4 qualities Twitch makes available for that clip.
Save to your device
Select Download MP4. The file comes directly from Twitch to your browser. Check Downloads, or use Save if your browser opens a video viewer.
What this tool supports
Individual public Twitch clips, in their available MP4 qualities, with the clip’s existing audio. A 1080p file is offered only when Twitch provides it. No watermarks are added.
What it cannot download
Live streams, full VODs, subscriber-only content, private or deleted clips and whole channels are not supported. Clips must be no longer than 10 minutes. If Twitch refuses access, the tool cannot retrieve the clip.

Is this Twitch clip downloader free?
Yes. No account or payment is required. This page allows three download requests per browser per day and limits repeated lookups. The browser allowance resets at midnight UTC.
Does SocialGuardian receive the clip or its link?
The downloader sends your clip lookup directly from your browser to Twitch, and the video downloads directly from Twitch’s CDN. The downloader does not submit your clip link or video to a SocialGuardian API. Normal website analytics are separate.
Can I download Twitch clips on a phone?
Use a browser that supports file downloads. After selecting Download MP4, check its Downloads list or your Files app. If a video viewer opens, use its Save or Share option. Saving to Photos depends on your browser and device.
Why is a clip unavailable?
The clip may have been removed, restricted or temporarily unavailable. Check that your link opens a public clip on Twitch. If the service refuses access, try again later. This tool does not use accounts or a server proxy to retrieve restricted clips.
Can I download a Twitch VOD or livestream?
This tool supports individual clips only. It does not record live streams or download full broadcasts, playlists or entire channels.
How is this different from a SocialGuardian backup?
This tool saves a single clip on your device. SocialGuardian’s backup service keeps an ongoing archive of a public profile you choose on supported networks. The profile can belong to someone else; available content depends on the network.
Save content you own or have permission to download. Public availability is not permission to republish. SocialGuardian is independent and is not affiliated with Twitch.
